I took these photos a couple of weeks ago when we were blasted with Siberian cold. Having grown up in New England I’m certainly no wimp when it comes to chilly weather, but this was cheek-stinging, tear-inducing, mind-stunning cold.
I’m glad it’s over. The ice has broken and is melting. Thank goodness.
I’m not a winter person but I will say that I do write the most in winter. How about you? What’s your best season for writing?
Are you waiting for spring? (Silly question.)
I do love spring! I’m not a winter fan at all – that’s why I moved to London!
I’m really overdue for a London visit! Been a long time.
Maybe one of these days.
Early spring has arrived in San Antonio. I’m not much of a winter person either. Love your photos
And I loved your San Antonio photos.
The ice chunks on the water are amazing. I have a secret dream to move to Massachusetts outside of Boston. Oh, I guess it’s not a secret anymore. I do my best writing when it’s cold outside with fuzzy socks on my feet and a fire in the fireplace.
I’d like to have a house on the Cape. No secret/surprise, either.
I agree those ice chunks look so cool.
They were amazing. That’s just one of many pics I took of them.
Gorgeous! I’m sort of a winter person (well, no choice, living in Montreal), but I think I would love it more if I was writing full time and watching winter from a cabin window, instead of trudging out to work…
Ooh a cabin window sounds nice.
Visited Montreal once and LOVED it.
I’m still waiting for winter! LOL We are “suppose” to get snow today. We’ll see,
Oh wait, I think I saw a snowflake.
I wrote a lot last winter, but not this winter.
Spring has finally arrived where I am. (Lets out a great sigh of relief!)
Yes, I’m waiting for spring! Though this winter had been mild overall, so I can’t complain. Today is reaching 60 degrees.
I don’t know when I’m most productive. I’ve written books in every season. Though I always think summer will be the best because I’m not working, I spend time with the kids and visit family, so writing time gets eaten up.
You did have a mild winter! Lucky.
We had 10 minutes of snow this weekend. We are all calling it winter. Today it’s suppose to reach 68!
It’s lovely here. Lovely, I say!
